On the 20th of August 2024, the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation and Öko-Recherche hosted a successful webinar on “F-Gas Regulation on the EU and Lebanon Examples: from policy measures to market effects.” The webinar brought together stakeholders from across the region to discuss the implications of the Kigali Amendment and the EU F-gas Regulation on the Lebanese cooling market. Key topics included the Kigali Amendment and HFC phase-down, the EU F-gas Regulation and its requirements, challenges faced by the Lebanese RAC industry, and the latest advancements in cooling technology. The webinar provided valuable insights for industry stakeholders and highlighted the importance of adopting sustainable cooling practices in Lebanon.
